No. Every program is free for eligible seniors, regardless of income.

A senior, family member, or caregiver can submit a client referral online or call our office at 281-633-7049. A staff member follows up directly to confirm eligibility and set up service.

Yes. Referrals come from seniors themselves, family members, caregivers, neighbors, social workers, and healthcare providers. Anyone who knows a senior who may need help is welcome to reach out on their behalf.

Fort Bend Seniors has served Fort Bend and Waller Counties for over 50 years. We operate programs in both counties, including senior centers and home-delivered meals. We are actively expanding our reach in Waller County to serve more neighbors there.

Neighbors receive one hot meal Monday through Wednesday, and one hot meal plus three frozen meals on Thursday — covering Friday through Sunday. Every meal meets at least one-third of the recommended daily nutrition a senior needs.

Senior centers serve one hot meal daily in a group setting, Monday through Friday, alongside recreational activities, health screenings, computer access, and transportation. Home-delivered meals go directly to a senior's door for neighbors who cannot safely attend a center.

Fort Bend Seniors operates 6 activity centers located throughout Fort Bend and Waller Counties. All centers are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. View locations and hours.

Yes. Round-trip transportation is available as needed for seniors attending our centers. Contact your nearest center directly to arrange a pickup. Find your nearest location.

Yes. The AniMeals program provides pet food and supplies to homebound seniors so they can keep their companion animals fed and cared for. Pets are important to the health and wellbeing of many of our neighbors.

Volunteers deliver meals along a set weekly route and check in on each senior at the door. That brief visit is often the only face-to-face contact a homebound senior receives that day. Volunteers also report any concerns to staff, serving as an important safety net for the seniors they serve.

Drivers need a valid license, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and attend our volunteer orientation. Fort Bend Seniors provides route training, and a staff contact for support on the road.

Yes. Corporate groups, faith communities, civic organizations, and schools are welcome to volunteer as a team. Group volunteer days are a great way to give back and experience our mission firsthand. Learn more about volunteering.

Most delivery routes take one to two hours per week. Volunteers choose the frequency that works for their schedule — weekly, monthly, or as a one-time experience. Every shift makes a difference.
