The congregate centers’ most popular activity are the Bingo games. Sponsorship opportunities for corporations, businesses, and groups are available. Company volunteers sit among the players to help mark cards, claim prizes, etc. and a representative of the company calls out numbers. Your banners can be hung, and logo items can be included as prizes.

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

  • Used clothing or furniture items
  • Expired canned goods or food
  • Children’s items
  • Opened bags of pet food, canned pet food, or expired pet food
  • Opened packages of adult diapers

Please donate gently used items to Fort Bend Women’s Center PennyWise Resale Stores and opened packages to your local animal shelter.

Emergency Preparedness

A 2014 study found less than 25% of older adults have an emergency plan. Of those surveyed a quarter live alone and a third were disabled or in poor health. Our older population is most vulnerable in a time of crisis, so being prepared today means a faster response time and less stress in the future.
