Born and raised in Karachi Pakistan, Farida learned from her father to give to those in need, not just financially but to also give her time and expertise. The one cause that is close to her heart is taking care of the emotional needs of the elderly and their caregivers.

She is the CEO and co-founder of Shining Nightingale, INC, a Texas home health agency that focuses on providing care and guidance to geriatric clients in the comfort of their own home.

Farida holds Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Arts. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Department of Aging and Disability and involved with many charitable organizations throughout the Houston area.
